Welcome Students and Instructors!The DXATC CPR Training Center is your local American Heart Association training facility. We provide all levels of certification and non-certification courses for basic life support (BLS), cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), first aid, pediatric first aid, advanced life support, and instructor training. Additionally, we have the capability to provide training at your facility by appointment or schedule training classes to meet your business needs. We have classes for everyone!

BLS CoursesThis course is designed for those who work in or around a healthcare setting. This two year certification course will cover Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, Choking, use of barrier devices including bag valve masks, and AED training.

First Aid CoursesThis basic First Aid course is for anyone wanting certification due to a work requirement or personal interests. This is also a great class for parents, babysitters and those who enjoy outdoor activities! This is a two year certification. Learn to recognize life threatening emergencies such as heart attack, stroke, shock, burns, diabetes, seizures and allergic reactions.

ACLS CoursesCourse Description ACLS is based on simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students will practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as team leader. Realistic simulations reinforce the following key concepts: proficiency in basic life support care; recognizing and initiating early management of peri-arrest conditions; managing cardiac arrest; identifying and treating ischemic chest pain and acute coronary syndromes; recognizing other life-threatening clinical situations (such as stroke) and providing initial care; ACLS algorithms; and effective resuscitation team dynamics. Course Length: 13 ½ hours approx. Including breaks Intended Audience The course is designed for medical providers such as physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency. PALS CoursesCourse Description
